Ezzy, known for the best constructed Windsurfing Sails and now, probably for the best Wing. The original Flight wing did take a bit of time to come the table, as David Ezzy is not re-knowned for rushing in to new product designs.. he does like to totally understand it first. The Flight was launched in 2024 and because of the wing market place already being heavily subscribed, it was sold in small numbers to gain product feedback from owners. The original Flight was mocked by some in the trade as being old fashioned, in particular as it has two separate inflation points but since then it has been 'followed' by other companies, changing their views on perhaps how a wing should be constructed. One thing that did get mentioned positively by every reviewer of a Flight, was that the panel lay out and the actual construction of the Ezzy wing was noticeably different to the others. The Sri Lankan factory where Ezzy have their factory has long been seen as the best for quality and end product reliability (every sail is rigged and checked prior to dispatch, which is exactly the same with the Flight wings). So, we now have the Flight V2 which is designed to be used in all aspects of recreational wing foiling and it's available in the UK via Seasprite, the Ezzy Windsurfing Distributor. The wings are due February 25, so not long to wait and we expect these wings to be just as great a product as their windsurf sails. Pre-order if you want one of the first!!

Our V2 wing has undergone major changes from our V1.  A deeper, more draft forward profile improves stability, upwind pointing and low-end power. New W-80, warp orientated  cloth used on the trailing edge has 40% less stretch than standard canopy fabrics. This prevents trailing edge flutter and greatly increases the longevity of the wing. New, W-50 canopy cloth is a lighter version of the W-80 and is used for the main canopy.  We invented a system we call the “Strut Loop” to improve the strut-to-canopy connection. The  Strut Loop locks the canopy to the strut, which improves stability and overall performance. New radial seams reduce stretch and flutter by aligning the load paths at the back of the canopy. The trailing edge stabilizers are aligned perpendicular to the trailing edge to better resist flutter. New light weight radial canopy patch aligns the load at the end of the strut to prevent stretch. Lower leading edge handle improves flagging and makes the wing neutral for wave riding.

• Available soon: a retrofittable full boom. This will allow you to swap out the two handles for a single boom.
