The Legacy sail is something a little different in the Ezzy Line up, as it is classed as a budget sail. The only problem with that is, David Ezzy does not know how to make a budget sail and so the first time you see a Legacy the quality of finish and the materials amazes everyone. The sail design morphs as the sizes increase..The range now starts off at 3.7m and from 3.7m to 5.2m they are perfectly good wave sails. From 5.5 - 5.8m are Freewave sails and then 6.5m - 7.5m they are Freeride sails. Here's something else about Ezyy that's different.. every Ezzy sail is rigged and checked at the factory, so you know the sail in the bag is ready to go! Ezzy say...

In an effort to improve the collection, David gave the new Legacy a more controllable feel across a wider wind spectrum. The new Legacy is also stronger. High density Spectra X Film is now used on the tack panel as well as the use of a combination of RBS epoxy battens and traditional battens. The mantra of the Legacy is the same as its inception. The Legacy Series is designed to offer a more economically priced option for sailors that demand the reputable Ezzy quality. The Legacy Sails deliver basic performance and durability at an affordable price. The smaller Legacy’s are designed for wave and bump & jump. The larger sizes are built for freeride blasting.

At the heart of it, the Legacy is ready to go to battle for anyone…from the PWA circuit (Graham Ezzy's sail of choice for light wind competition) to recreational enthusiasts.

Colours: Ezzy produce Legacy sails in various colours as they will use end of line materials to keep their production costs down and therefore the Retail Price to You stays LOW. Our stock sails show their colour, if you don’t like it, please contact us for other colour options from our supplier.
