Rubber UJ - This Starplate has a Rubber UJ with 10mm thread and webbing UJ saver. Great for around 2 years service but it will last longer if regularly washed in fresh water, to remove saltwater from the UJ saver.

Knuckle / Mechanical - This type is recommended for use on inflatable SUP/Windsurf boards by several brands as there is less strain on the board insert. Great for use with junior rigs as they can attach the rig to the board far easier should it come off!!
