VAST kayaks are constructed using the same type of DropStitch as used in the Stand Up Paddle market. This allows an inflatable board for the first time to have a reasonably shaped 'V' hull that will paddle almost as well as a solid constructed boat. This type of boat has been widely used for exploration, due to the ease of transporting and the toughness of the laminated vinyl hull.
