New for 25 has been the upgrading of the Atan boots to the new Gecko model, which will be used across the range of Atan foot wear. Our current stock is a mix, as Atan still supply the 'original'  design, so Image 2 will be shown when the size selected in the dropdown box is original Mistral. As a guide, the Mistral is the perfect all rounder, as at 3mm it can be worn through out the year but you might prefer the Madisson split toe version of the boot or Sunfast or Madi shoe in the summer months and then the Hot Mistral 6.5mm for the depth of winter or for beaches with rocks. 

The Hot Mistral is exactly that, HOT! It is one if not the warmest boot on the market. The Hot boots are for those really cold days in winter or the constantly cold locations around the world. At 6.5mm thick, this boot offers that great ATAN barefoot 'feel' but with unbelievably hot feet, hence the HOT label. The prolonged winter SUP paddling session, when there is frost on the trees becomes a magical experience when your feet are still toasty and warm, when you pack the kit away. ATAN say...

*Note. The Latex sole is not suitable for long periods of 'use' on tarmac or pathways.. they are great on sandy and pebble beaches!
