Well, that was a weekend of wind and rain and warm.. that's the three best 'W's during the winter, if you are into water-sports (the rain bit is not so good but it generally comes with the others).  And there appears to be more to come, all the way up to the 23rd of December (what happens after that we won't talk about, as it could have changed by then). All of which is good news, for those still trying to crack their water-sport, like Sandy Dobner, son of Molly and Phil Dobner, who many of you may know, as they were the originators of the Moon Beach resort in Egypt. Sandy is out on his windsurfer every chance he can get, as the only way you can get good at this type of sport is to get out there and practice and if you put the time in, you get a result. It would seem that Sandy has already gained his place in the Hall of Fame, as he has been featured on Windsurfing TV (I never did.. ). It came about by Phil having a messaging session with Ben Proffit, about how the kids can't understand why they can't do what they see the Pro Sailors doing.. because they don't have many mates of their own age doing it, to understand that 'everyone' struggles with hard to learn sports like Windsurfing, Kite and Foil etc. Ben took this on board and is going to try and bring in more footage of the Young Ones going through the pains of improving, which I guess is great reality TV.  Definitely worth a watch and if you have vid clips of your youngsters on the way 'up', maybe send them to Ben..  I’m sure he will showcase as many as he can.
