Not enough words, too much going on and Things to Go!

Friday evening folks and it's a Happy Birthday to Jane Wyatt, who many of you will know as the Lady with the Beach Hut.. hope you've had a lovely day Jane! So, here we go again.. It’s the Weekend!

Right, re. a comment on Facebook last week , regarding the rambles word count being ‘high’,  this week will be a pure joy to those who like a ‘light’ read on a Friday night ( it’s been ‘night’ most days, due to the continuous cloud cover over the UK.. talk about Doldrums). Why? Because I have nothing to say.  No.. not mentioning anything to do with the waste water pipe that went pop in the town and made the local Beeb headlines last Saturday (counted nineteen waste water collection tankers sat on stand-by on my way home) or anything to do with America’s choice of President ( my Moma always said ‘"You must always doubt the benefits of someone"’…  or something like that) or the onslaught of Christmas advertising at the beginning of November, that has severely increased my anxiety level.. or any of the other utter madness that appears to be happening in our world. No, not a word about any of that but I will have to mention..

Severne Dyno Mk4 boards are now on offer! All sizes are currently available and at a ‘Happy Christmas’ price of just £1699.00..well if everyone else thinks it’s time to start the Christmas shop before we have even started on the Black Friday ‘Sale’, I’m in!  All info is on the website and delivery to the shop or your door is approx. 2 days.. (other brands are also on sale, please contact us for info)

Not sure how many of you still read Windsurf but being the last printed English language Windsurfing (and a bit of Wing) magazine in the world, we, along with most other shops, still place a printed advert to keep it afloat and our advert in this month’s issue is a Clearance list, or the ‘Got to Go’ as we prefer to think of it as (better out on the water than stuck in a box) . The ad covers sails, boards and wing foil kit  ( pic attached) and if you look closely.. you will see that there are New Fanatic Sky Wing boards starting from only £499.00, which is cheap! You need to go to the site (YOU are already on it) to see the sizes and the prices.. https://www.surfladle.com/wing-boards/fanatic-wing/fanatic-sky-wing  but there are bargains to be had. Now, it's time for the weekends weather..

Saturday, sorry but no change from the last 5 days, apart from the wind will slowly back from the East to somewhere in the Northern sector and stutter along at 5-7kt, ensuring a cool daytime temperature of just below 10°C. No rain mentioned but would not be surprised in the ‘pizzle’ is about again (been nicer without it today).  Tide is High at 16.19hrs on a 4.8m Neep, so very little, if any, sand for the dogs to be walked on or water in the river to paddle upon.

‘Sun’-day, yes it is possible that bright thing above the clouds could be visible again during the afternoon, according to the Met Office, as they believe the cloud cover will start to dissipate and the temperature will climb to a warming 13°C! Windguru are not so sure but both agree that Monday will be sunny, so something to look forward too! The wind swings back to the Southern sector, Sou’East during the morning, South for a spell around midday and then Sou’West in the afternoon but only 4 -7kts at best. Tide is High at 18.04hrs (a big jump) on a 4.9m.

And that’s it. I guess you can expect more Whiz Bangs over this weekend and if you are attending a lively bonfire party,  here’s something you should consider!  https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1212738400227187&id=100044731155570&_rdr

Have a great weekend everyone and I do hope that was short enough..?
