The all new KT Foil range has been co-designed by Kane de Wilde (of KD Foils) and due to the cambered front Wings and already infamous KD stabilizer tail wing, are likely to bring about a change in the foiling worlds hierarchy. 

This is the all round Nomad foil, which is their Medium Aspect wing (Atlas is their High Aspect) and is seen as the best for those who want one foil with a couple of wing options to cover their range of foiling activities. Suitable for use by keen newcomers to advanced riders. The camber produces so much lift that KT suggest downsizing by 10 - 20% from other manufacturer wing sizes to gain the same performance, so please bare that in mind. The complete foils are shipped with Carbon masts, which to us makes sense, as Kane does state that the mast is super critical to the wings performance, so why use an Alloy.. buy once and buy right, if you want that performance. If not, you can make up a set with their Alloy mast. On the other hand, Alloy fuselages are seen to be better than directional carbon, as twist / flex in the fuselage aids the hydrodynamics of the wings, hence all KT are Alloy. Complete Foils and foil parts are supplied with covers but bags are extra.  As stated at the start, the first KT foils arrive March, so pre-order is advisable! KT say......

Our Carbon Mast is constructed from a High Modulus (HM) Carbon blend, delivering superior strength and minimal weight. Its straight, zero-taper design ensures a consistent feel while reducing submerged drag, optimizing performance at high speeds. The ventilation-resistant foil section maintains efficiency even in turbulent conditions. At 15.5mm thickness, it strikes an ideal balance between rigidity, responsiveness, and speed, making it perfect for high-performance use, heavier riders, and high-aspect foils.

Our Aluminum Mast features a robust foil section with an optimized profile that offers impressive stiffness and minimal drag. Despite its 19mm thickness, the design performs like a thinner mast at higher speeds, maintaining comparable submerged drag to the Carbon Mast above 13 mph. It provides a durable and cost-effective alternative with solid, reliable performance.
