New for 25 has been the upgrading of the Atan boots to the new Gecko model, which will be used across the range of Atan foot wear. Our current stock is a mix, as Atan still supply the 'original'  design, so Image 2 will be shown when the size selected in the dropdown box is original Mistral. The Mistral is the perfect all rounder, as at 3mm it can be worn through out the year but you might prefer the Madisson split toe boot or Sunfast or Madi shoe in the summer months and then the Hot Mistral 6.5mm for the depth of winter. The Mistral is our best selling Atan boot, which has and will always offer the great “barefoot feeling” that Atan is known for, as well as keeping your feet warm. Atan say....

(Titanium glue forms a metallic film that reflects heat).

Thin 100% natural latex sole, very good grip.

Velcro around the calf, very comfortable and very warm!

To sum it up, these boots are light, flexible, comfortable, warm and very supple and probably equivalent to most other 5mm boots.

*Note. The Latex sole is not suitable for long periods of 'use' on tarmac or pathways.. they are great on sandy and pebble beaches!
